I just love her cute little ballerina dress! It reminds me so much of my daughter’s first dance recital last year. I combined this set with the new Spotlight Stencil and the Take the Stage Die-namics. I love all of these sets. The spotlight stencil adds so much interest to your card and the stage curtains are such a joy to work with and very versatile.
I first created my background by blending some Distress Inks (Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire & Black Soot) onto a piece of Smooth White Card Stock. I then stamped my little ballerina with Copic friendly Black Ink on some Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock and colored her with Copics. I used the coordinating die to cut her out.
I then diecut the curtains from smooth white card stock using the Take the Stage Die-namics and then colored them with Copics. I’ve notated all of the colors that I used below. Lastly I stamped my sentiment with Black Ink and used a white gel pen in the background for some added detail.
