Hello, everyone! I’m so excited to be sharing my first post on my very new website! I have been working hard behind the scenes to create a site that I hope is user friendly and easy to find what you’re looking for.
I have a brand new die set to share with you today from My Favorite Things. It’s called the Puppy Love Die-namics and it’s super adorable! I started by blending some Distress Oxide Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord, and Shaded Lilac) for the background. I loosely splattered this panel with water and blotted it dry with a paper towel after letting it sit for a minute.
Once this was dry, I then splattered some diluted Opaque White Paint and Black Watercolor Paint with a small paint brush. While this panel was drying again, I then assembled my puppy. I used both Kraft and Neenah Desert Storm Card Stock for the main components. The darker brown pieces were diecut from Kraft and then blended with both Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso Distress Inks for some darker shading.
I used some Black Licorice Card Stock for the paws, eyes, and nose and used a White Gel Pen on the nose for some added interest. I blended some Prismacolor NuPastel in Rose Pink on his cheeks to add some blush. I set my puppy on a hill of grass that I had blended with some Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks using the Grass Stencil.
I used the Greetings & Salutations Stamp Set for my sentiment and then heat embossed it onto some Black Licorice Card Stock. I then used the Skinny Strips Die-namics to cut it out and adhered it to the front of my card with some liquid adhesive.
