Hello everyone! I’m here today to share a mini release from Whimsy Stamps that features three new Cancer Stamp Sets. Most of us have unfortunately been affected by cancer at some point in our lives. Whether by knowing or loving someone with this dreaded disease or having to deal with it ourselves.
These clear stamp sets are called Cancer Sucks, Caregiver Hugs, and Cause Awareness. Cancer is mentally, physically, and emotionally draining for all involved and sometimes a card can help bring a smile to someone’s face or provide a much needed word of encouragement. Even though a card doesn’t change the circumstances, sometimes it can at least brighten someone’s day to know that you’re thinking about them.

I created a simple card today featuring the two sweet little bears from the Caregiver Hugs Set. I first stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copics, and then cut them out.

For my background, I lightly blended some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink for the sky and some Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink for the grass. I then stamped my sentiment with Black Ink onto the bottom portion of the card, using my MISTI Stamping Tool.

Lastly, I added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for added dimension.
Several others from the team are also sharing some great cards using these sets. Be sure to check them out in the links below!
You can take a closer look at these sets HERE. Thanks so much for dropping by! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Rachel, this is such a loving and supportive post for such difficult circumstances. I know it is heartfelt for you too. It’s a beautiful, beautiful card.
Thank you so much, Deb! I keep wishing that I had these sets (especially the boxing gloves) while my Grandma was still with us. She would have really liked them and gotten a kick out of some of the sentiments. <3 You did such a beautiful job.
