Hello! I have some fun new Die Sets to share with you today! The Impact Alphabet and Numbers Die-namics are the perfect size to really show off what you want to say!

The nice thing about this set is that the size of these letters fit well onto any sized card. I went with a slimline card (or also called a long card) today because I wanted to use the word “CONGRATS” without it looking too jammed. Slimline cards are perfect if you wanted to spell out longer length names that may not fit on a standard A2-sized card.

So, you may ask, what size is a slimline card? Will they fit into an envelope that I can buy or do I have to make my own? There are different sized slimline cards but I usually make mine at 8.5″ x 3.5″ only because it uses less paper and is easy to get the perfect folding card base with a standard 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper without having to go out and buy 12″ x 12″ scrapbooking paper. This sized card fits perfectly into a #8 sized envelope but will also fit well into the #9 slimline envelopes or the #10 standard US Business sized envelopes.

To start my card, I simply diecut each of my letters using rainbow colored scraps from the new Over the Rainbow Paper Pad. I then diecut each letter 3 more times from 100lb White Card Stock and then layered each letter together with liquid adhesive to allow my letters to pop off of my card without the hassle of trying to cut foam tape to fit behind each one. Plus, this gives my letters a cleaner look.

I paired my letters with some cute images from the Birdie Brown Up in the Air Stamp Set as well as a long strip of grass and some puffy clouds. For the grass, I blended some Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I lightly splattered this blending with some water and then blotted it dry with a dry paper towel after letting it sit for a minute. I added some accents using a White Gel Pen. I then diecut the perfect length of grass using the grass die from the Pop Up Wiper Card Components Dienamics.

For the sky, I used the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil along with some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink.

I thought it would be fun to add a pop up element to the inside of my card and added the “WAY 2 GO!” sentiment using both the Impact Alphabet and Numbers Die-namics. I also added some clouds using the Cute Cloud Outline Die-namics.

I also stamped a fun little sentiment at the bottom right hand corner of the inside of my card.
