Hello, everyone! I’m excited to share my first Guest Design Project today for Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. I’ve created a fun little underwater shadow box card featuring the newly released Fin-tastic Friends Clearstamp Set. I briefly shared this set last week and the Copic colors that I used to color everything. If you’d like to know the color combos, you can check out that post HERE.

I love shadow box cards! This one folds flat to a standard A6 sized card (4.5″ x 6.25″). When popped open, it measures 4.75″ across, 1.5″ deep and 4.5″ tall. I used a regular circle die to cut the window in the front of my card.

For the inside of my card, I diecut some shelves with some stitched wavy border dies and then blended each piece with some Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered each panel with water as well as some diluted Opaque White Paint.

For the ocean background of my card, I blended some Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink. I love how the background contrasts so boldly with the sand. This helps the card to provide more depth to my scene. Prior to adding the front portion of my card, I stamped my sentiment with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Lastly, I added all of my images to the inside of my card with some liquid adhesive.

It is as if an underwater current billows through the opening of this shadow box card scene! I don’t know HOW you achieve that look but I sure am glad that you DO! Have a terrific day! Cheers from Oz.
I appreciate your feedback, Adam! Have a great day!
