Hello, friends! For my second guest project, I have a fun Center Window Card to share with you today featuring the adorable Over the Moon Clear Stamp Set from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps. This style of card has been pretty popular lately with various companies coming out with their own dies to make them super easy to create. I made mine by hand today since I don’t own any of them but if you prefer things to be done quickly and precisely, you can check out THIS amazing die set from The Stamps of Life.

I thought it would be really cool to make it look like my little astronaut was exploring the moon. I love the amount of space that you get with this type of card!

To make the inside of the card, I simply trimmed a piece of card stock to 8.25″ x 5.25″ so that it fits perfectly into a standard A2 sized card. I then scored this panel at 2″, 4 1/8″, and 6.25″ on the long (8.25″) side. Once scored, I folded it on the score lines as shown above and then diecut an oval into the center fold. You can make your scoreline measurements larger or smaller depending on how far you want the center portion to stand out.

Once finished, I then blended this piece with Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide Inks. I added a strip of paper that I had colored with Copics in the center of my window to represent the moon.

I then added my images from the Over the Moon Stamp Set. I absolutely LOVE this set! Illustrated by Jennifer Nilsson Art, it is filled with so many cute galactic illustrations. I stamped these images onto Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored with Copic Sketch Markers. For a list of the colors that I used, you can check HERE.

The final result is such a fun surprise when your recipient opens up their card!
