Hello everyone! It’s Day 2 of the My Favorite Things July Card Kit Countdown. I have another card to share with you today using this fun set of products. Yesterday, I showed you how to incorporate all of the elements in the kit and had a fun little interactive card to share with you. Today, I went with a more simplified version.

For my card today, I just used the wine glass die that comes with the set and one of the fun sentiments. To start, I first trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″. I then heat embossed the Romantic Script Background Stamp with Clear Embossing Powder onto the front of this panel. I lightly blended some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink to the center of this embossed area to let the gorgeous script show subtly in the background of my card.

I then used the A2 Stitched Rectangle Die-namics Set 2 to trim this piece down. I added some Silver Sparkle Card Stock behind this panel and attached the entire portion to an A2 sized vertical card base that was created from a sheet of Electric Red Card Stock.

I diecut two wineglasses from another sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and used Copics to color some red wine and shade the glasses. For the wine, I used R02, R14, R27, R46, R89, and RV99. I used some Cool Gray Copic Markers (0, C00, C2, C4) to shade the glasses. I added some White Gel Pen for more detail and then diecut 6 more wineglasses to layer each piece an extra 3 layers deep. This also helps the glasses to be more sturdy and have more depth when attaching them to your card.

Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a strip of Steel Gray Card Stock. I used the Fishtail Flag Trio Die-namics to cut out my sentiment and then adhered it to the front of my card with some liquid adhesive. For some added interest, I also adhered some hearts that I had colored and diecut using the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics.
