Let’s Toast (with a Twist) Card Kit Release | MFT Stamps

July 23, 2019

Hello, friends! The July Card Kit from My Favorite Things is now available! The Let’s Toast (with a Twist) Card Kit comes in limited bundle quantities, so if you are interested in getting the items in this kit at a great deal, head on over to the MFT Website to check it out!

I created some colorful Shaker Tags to share with you today. I combined some items of the kit along with the Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics to create some fun and festive tags.

I used the cute little martini glass die from the Let’s Toast Die-namics Set and placed one on the front of each tag. I used the Over the Rainbow Paper Pad to provide a splash of color to the frame of each tag.

To color the martinis themselves, I blended six different sections of Distress Oxide Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and then splattered them lightly with water and Opaque White Paint. I then diecut a martini from each of these color blends and trimmed the top portion off (in the shape of a triangle) before adhering this piece to another martini base cut from white card stock.

Distress Oxide Ink Colors Used:

  • Pink (Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry)
  • Orange (Carved Pumpkin and Ripe Persimmon)
  • Yellow (Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber)
  • Green (Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn)
  • Blue (Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean)
  • Purple (Seedless Preserves and Wilted Violet)

I used doubled sided 3D Foam Adhesive Paper to diecut my frame for each tag and a clear piece of acetate for each window. I filled each tag with some gorgeous Topping Diamonds from Queen & Company. Lastly, I added a folded fishtail banner from the Tag Builder 5 Die-namics.
