Hello crafty friends! I’m back with another guest post for Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps featuring the newly released Fin-tastic Friends Stamp Set, illustrated by Jennifer Nilsson Art. This time, I combined this set with the Mer-mazing Stamp Set that was released last month. (Affilated links used where applicable.)

I created a pair of similar cards combining images from both sets onto both cards. I stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. I then used my Brother ScanNCut to cut them out.

For my background on this first card, I used the mermaid, turtle, and ocean foliage from the Fin-tastic Friends Stamp Set and added the crab from the Mer-mazing Set.

I blended my background with some Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink for the sandy portion and Shaded Lilac and Mermaid Lagoon for the ocean portion. I splattered each section separately with some water and then blotted it dry with a clean paper towel. I then splattered some diluted white paint onto my entire panel. I sectioned off the water and also splattered this with some diluted Shaded Lilac Distress Ink and for the sandy portion, I also splattered it with some diluted Brown Watercolor Paint.

For my second card, I used the same process for the background as above except that I added some Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink at the top. I used the mermaid from the Mer-mazing Stamp Set and added the cute seahorse from the Fin-tastic Friends Set.

I stamped my sentiment on the top right corner of my card with some Black Ink and added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for some added dimension.
I hope you enjoyed my cards today! You can check out the entire July release from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps HERE.
