Woo hoo! It’s time to start a new Release Countdown from My Favorite Things! You are going to love this release! I probably say that every time but wait until you see the TWO Birdie Brown Stamp Sets being featured today!

I used the new Sweater Weather in the Woods Stamp Set for my Shadow Box Card today. Aren’t those images just so cute!

Here’s the rest of the images with the other coordinating stamp set called Sweater Weather on Safari. I just love how chill they all look standing there drinking their coffee. I stamped all of my images with Copic friendly Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored with Copics, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

My card today is actually A6 (6.25″ x 4.5″) in size when folded. I used Kraft Card Stock, a scoring board, paper trimmer, and some good adhesive to create my base. I used the Inside & Out Stitched Squares Die-namics to cut a big square window in the front of my card. I then added some hills using the Grassy Hills Die-namics and some Green Room Prestige Card Stock. Prior to gluing these hills into my card, I heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder on the first section of grass.

I added some forest trees using the Birch Trees Die-namics that I had cut from White Card Stock and blended with some Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. I also used some Distress Oxide Inks (Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber) to blend a yellowish background for my sky.
