Hello, friends! We’re halfway until the big day! There are only 3 more days until the newest release from My Favorite Things becomes available!

I have the latest stamp set from Stacey Yacula to share with you today! It’s called Piles of Fun and it is filled with so many adorable critters having fun in the fall!

I stamped all of my images with Copic friendly Black Ink and then colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. I then used the coordinating Piles of Fun Die-namics to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:
(Please note: I like to use a number of colors for shading but it is not necessary to have all of these colors to get a nice blend. These are just for a reference.)
- Yellows: Y02, Y08, Y13, Y19, E33
- Reds: R05, R27, R46, R89, RV99
- Blue: B0000, B000, B01, B04, B05
- Orange: YR12, YR04, YR07, YR09, YR18
- Yellow Green: YG00, YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67
- Olive Green: YG61, YG93, G24, G28
- Dark wood on basket: E07, E25, E29
- Light wood on basket: E53, E55, E59
- Squirrel: E33, E15, E08, E09, E29
- Field Mouse: W00, W1, W2, W4, W5

I then went to work on my card background. I cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to slightly larger than 4.25″ x 5.5″ and then blended this panel with some orange and yellow Distress Oxide Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, and Ripe Persimmon).

I then splattered my panel lightly with water and let it sit for about a minute before blotting dry with a paper towel. Once dry, I then trimmed my panel down to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and then (after masking a spot for my sentiment) splattered it with some diluted White Opaque Paint and diluted Brown Watercolor Paint. I love the added interest that the splatters give.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment in the top right portion of the card with Black Ink and adhered all of my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape to give them more dimension.

Fabulous memories are spurred on by this fabulous card! I recall numerous times frolicking in the heaped autumn leaves on the grassy backyard as a child. The critters’ acrobatics imitate just that! Fabulous card all round, Rachel. TFS. Cheerio, Adam.
