Hello, crafty friends! I am so excited to share with you some brand new, exclusive Slimline Dies from Whimsy Stamps! As many of you know, Slimline Cards (the long and thinner cards) are becoming quite popular. Whimsy Stamps has come up with some brilliant dies that go perfectly with this sized card! I am a huge fan of slimline cards so I can’t even begin to tell you how much I LOVE these new dies! (Affiliate links used.)
I used the new Slimline Marquee Die for my card today combined with the new Fuzzy Spiders Clear Stamps.
The gorgeous stitching really adds some great interest to the overall card design (although, it’s hard to photograph on black card stock!). Check out the two other Slimline Dies that just released HERE.
I used Distress Oxide Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, and Ripe Persimmon) for my card background on a 8.5″ x 3.5″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Once blended, I splattered some water over this panel and then blotted it dry with a paper towel. I also splattered my background with some Black and White diluted paint.
I then stamped my spiders and hats with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, colored the hats with Copic Sketch Markers, and used my Brother ScanNCut to cut them out. Once I was ready to adhered everything together, I used my MISTI to stamp some spider webs and sentiment onto my background where the window openings would be.
