Hello! The Starry Night Card Kit is now available for purchase! For my card today, I combined this versatile kit with the BB Magical Unicorns Stamp Set. You don’t have to combine the kit with other sets to get gorgeous results, but I love combining new items with ones that I already own in order to get the most use out of everything.
I used the outline die from the Starry Night Vertical Die-namics to create a window in the front panel of my card. I used this window to create a sparkly shaker card to accentuate my galaxy sky.
To create my sky, I started with a sheet of the Ken Oliver Watercolor Ppaer and blended the Grape Jelly and Blueberry Ken Oliver Color Burst Watercolor Powders from the Night Sky Color Burst Trio with the Razzle Berry Color Burst Powder from the Sunrise Color Burst Trio. I wanted to get some gorgeous shades of pink along with the blues and purples into my sky.
I then splattered this piece with some diluted Opaque White Paint in order to create a starry effect. Once this piece was dry, I added some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape around the edges and placed some Studio Katia 3MM Magestic Crystals and Sparkling Crystals into the center of my watercolored galaxy background. I then adhered a piece of clear acetate to the back of my front window panel and added this piece on top of my background piece.
I then added some puffy white clouds to the front of my card using the Stitched Clouds Edges Die-namics. Prior to adding these pieces, I had stamped my sentiments onto each piece using the Starry Night Sentiments Strip. Lastly, I added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares. I had stamped my images with Copic friendly Black Ink and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers (Unicorn: W00, W0, W1, W2, W4; Pinks: RV000, RV00, RV52, RV55, Purples: V000, V01, V04, V06, V09; Whites: 0, C00, C0, C1, C2, C4). I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
