Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Release Blog Hop

September 30, 2019

Hello everyone! I am so thrilled to be joining the Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Release Blog Hop! If you are hopping along, you should have just come from the blog of the super talented, Nicky Meek. (You can find the full blog hop list at bottom of this post.) Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I have a couple of cards to share with you today using the new items from this amazing release. (Affiliated links used.)

For my first card, I used the new Skiing By Stamp Set to create a fun 3D Shadow Box Card. The images in this set are just too cute and so easy to color. I stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them quickly with Copic Sketch Markers, and used the coordinating Skiing By Die Set to cut them out.

I love the slope and mountain dies that come with this set! It made it so easy to create my fun little scene. For my snowy background, I blended some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink onto a sheet of smooth white card stock and then splattered it first with water and then with some diluted Opaque White Paint to create my snowy sky. When folded, my card measures at 4.5″ x 6.25″ and fits perfectly into a standard A6 sized envelope.

I created a pair of sparkly Christmas/Holiday cards for my second set of projects. For both cards, I used Distress Ink Blending for my background and then heat embossing in Fine Detail White Embossing Powder for the design.

For my first card, I used the gorgeous Cozy Christmas Wishes Stamp Set on a background blend of red Distress Inks.

Once blended, I masked off the center portion of my background and splattered the rest with both diluted Opaque White Paint and Gold Watercolor Paint.

For my second card, I used the same process but used a blend of green Distress Inks for my background.

For my sentiment and design on my card, I heat embossed the images from the new Sparkle With Magic Stamp Set. I love how festive this design is!

Once again, I used a blend of Distress Inks to create my bold and vivid background. Colors are listed in the photo above.
