Hello friends! It’s time for the latest MFT Stamps Product Release Countdown! Over the next 5 days, the MFT team will be sharing tons of crafty inspiration using the new, October Release. It’s filled with so many amazing goodies, you don’t want to miss it!
For my card today, I used the new Christmas sELFies Stamp Set, illustrated by Birdie Brown. I attempted some no-line coloring inspired by the work of Jane Allen. I don’t do a lot of no-line coloring because it takes me a while but it’s always fun to practice.

To start, I stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with some Cement Gray Hybrid Ink. I then used Copic Sketch Markers to color everything. I used a paper trimmer to cut out my image and then set it aside while I worked on the front of the card.

For my card front, I cut a piece of Kraft Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and then diecut a window into the front of my card using a square from the Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX Die-namics. I then used the Snowfall Stencil to add some snow to the front of my panel with some White Texture Paste.

Once dry, I then adhered my stamped image behind the open window with some liquid adhesive. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment onto a strip of Wild Cherry Card Stock with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. I used the Fishtail Flag Trio Die-namics to cut it out and then attached it to the lower front center of my card.

This card is great! The use of the snowfall stencil is perfect! I was wondering how you did that. I especially like your coloring of the adorable little elves (that I can’t seem to get enough of)! Thank you.

This is such a cute card, Rachel! Can’t wait to get my hands on this stamp set!!! Wonderful job with your no-line coloring! Love that snow stencil too!
Thank you so much, Hanh! You are so sweet. I love the snowfall stencil so much. It’s usually my go-to stencil when making winter/holiday cards.
Wow! Super cute card! Your no line coloring is gorgeous!
You are so sweet, Larissa, thank you! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I love the Selfie being on the kraft cardstock since it reminds me of gingerbread. The snowflakes sure enhance the holiday look.
Thank you, Nessy! I agree! I love using Kraft Card Stock on Christmas/winter cards for that very reason! :0)
For someone who claims not to do no line coloring often, you did an amazing job!!! So cute!
You are so sweet, Karen! It’s definitely a technique that’s out of my comfort zone but I used to feel the same with regular coloring. I’m hoping to practice with it more and more when I have the extra time.
Love the elves in a snowstorm.
Thank you so much, Sherri! <3
