Hello friends! There are only 4 days left until the newest release from My Favorite Things is available! This is the BIGGEST release ever from MFT Stamps so stay tuned!

I have two cards to share with you today that showcase the new Little Town of Bethlehem Die-namics. This set is really versatile! For my first card, I used these border dies inside of a 3D Shadow Box Card. My card measures at 4.5″ x 6.25″ when folded flat and fits perfectly into a standard A6 sized envelope.
I diecut all of my city borders from Kraft Cardstock and then set them aside to work on my background sky. For both of my cards today, I used the same ink blending since I felt like the deep blue night sky went well with the Christmas theme.
Distress Inks Used:
- Stormy Sky
- Faded Jeans
- Chipped Sapphire
- Black Soot

I splattered my ink blended background loosely with water using a #4 paint brush. I blotted it dry with a paper towel after letting it sit for a minute and then splattered it again with some diluted White Opaque Paint to resemble stars. For my stitched square window in the front of my card, I used the Inside & Out Stitched Squares STAX Die-namics.
As I mentioned above, I used the same ink blending for my second card. This time, I diecut my city borders from White Card Stock and added them to the front of my card with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension.

I then used the new Peace on Earth Die-namics to add my gorgeous sentiment. I love the script on this die. It fills a good portion of the card and makes a beautiful focal point.

Thank you so much, Kathy!
Wowsers Rachel these cards are fabulous! The monochromatic inks you’ve chosen coupled with the Kraft card stock and the white card stock in the form of the ‘Little Town of Bethlehem’ die foreground is simply stunning. The elementary sentiment says it all really. Both are lovely cards. Cheers and blessings from Oz, Adam.
You are so sweet, Adam, thank you!
