Hello everyone! I have a fun slimline card to share with you today featuring some super cute digital stamps from The Paper Nest Dolls Digi Stamp Store! The Spooky House Set comes in a set with 7 stamps. This set is available both in digital file form HERE for only $6.50 for the entire set! Or, if you prefer stamps in hand, they also offer their Spooky House Red Rubber Stamp Set HERE for $12.50 plus shipping. I used the digital files for my card today which gave me the ability to resize my images to my own preference to fit onto my choice of card size/style.

To start, I first downloaded my files to my PC and then opened them up in a Word Document. I simply dragged a corner of each photo (while holding the shift key so as not to change the ratio of the stamp) to resize each stamp to the size of my choice. Once I had each image resized, I then printed them (in high quality!) onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 80lb Card Stock. I then colored them with Copic Sketch Markers and used my Brother ScanNCut to cut them out. You can easily fussy cut them as well but I don’t have a lot of extra time and invested in this machine to use for stamps that don’t have coordinating dies.

I then trimmed a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock to 8.5″ x 3.5″ and masked off a circular area for the moon using a piece of Masking Paper that I had cut using a circle die. I then blended a spooky background using Distress Oxide Inks (Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Lucky Clover, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot).

Next, I splattered this panel with water using a #4 paint brush being careful not to splatter too much water near my masked area so that the ink would not bleed into my “moon”. I let the water sit for about a minute before blotting it dry with a paper towel. Once dry, I then spattered it again with some diluted Opaque White Paint to resemble stars. Once finished splattering, I then removed my circular mask above the area where I wanted my moon. I used some Warm Gray Copic Markers (W00, W1, W2, W4) to color in some craters and texture to my moon.

I used a grass border die from the Sunny Studio Sunny Sentiments Die Set to cut some grass out of some black card stock. I partially diecut this section twice so that I could get one long strip to fit my card. I heat embossed my sentiment from the Sunny Studio Halloween Cuties Stamp Set with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. Lastly, I added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for some added dimension.

I highly encourage you to check out the other cute stamps offered by The Paper Nest Dolls!

OMG!!!! They are adorable!! Great card!
Thank you so much, Patricia! <3
Adorable card!! I’m curious… what size envelopes do you use for these longer rectangle cards? A standard A10 or something else?
Hi Jen! I use a #9 sized business envelope which fits this size card perfectly. However, a standard #10 business envelope would work as well!
Your spooky night sky is fabulous, and that glowing full moon is something else! Your colour choice and blending are unrivalled. TFS. Cheers and blessings from Aus, Adam.
You’re so sweet, Adam, thank you!
