Hello, friends! Whimsy Stamps is offering a special October Release starting today! You can check HERE to see all of the amazing new products being released this afternoon. My card today features the new Happy Owlidays Too Clear Stamps Set. (Affiliated links used.)

I first stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored with Copics (Reds: R05, R27, R46, R89; Greens: YG00, YG61, YG63, YG17, YG97; Browns: E40, E42, E43, E44, E47) and then used my Brother ScanNCut to cut them out. I stamped my trio of holly leaves quite a few times in order to create a fun Christmas wreath for my owl to perch on.

For my background, I blended some Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks. I worked with my lightest color in the center and blended outward toward the edges, ending with my darkest colored ink. For added interest, I splattered this panel first with some water and then some diluted Opaque White Paint, and Gold Watercolor Paint.

I diecut a frame from White Card Stock using the Shaker Maker Combo Die Set. I heat embossed my sentiment onto a strip of red card stock and used the Quick Strips Die Set to cut it out.
Make sure to stop by the Whimsy Stamps Website to see what the rest of the team has created and to browse the other fun new sets that are being released!

I am loving the lemon and lime contrast of colour in the background. That owl is the cutest – it looks like its just about to emerge from its hollow. Those peepers are gorgeous and oh so expressive. This is a beautiful card. TFS. Cheers and blessings from the Land Down Under, Adam.
Thank you so much, Adam!
