Hello, crafty friends! Today starts a new Vault Release from My Favorite Things! This is where MFT Stamps releases previously retired (but popular) stamp and die sets that have been improved with updated designs.

I’ve created a fun shadow box card today to feature the BB Super Boy Stamp Set. To start, I first created my base with 1 sheet of After Midnight Prestige Card Stock. I cut two pieces to 7.75″ x 4 .5″ and scored them both at 1.5″ and 6.25″ on the long side to create my box. I used the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics to cut my front window. When folded, my card measures at 6.25″ x 4.5″ and fits perfectly into a standard A6 sized envelope.

I stamped my superhero image onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored with Copics and used the coordinating Super Boy Die-namics Set to cut him out. I created a city lit sky background by blending some blue Distress Oxide Inks (Tumbled Glass, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire onto a 4.75″ x 4.5″ piece of Smooth White Card Stock. I then used the Ray of Light Stencil to add some light rays.

I used the City Block Die-namics to create a 3D city inside of my box card. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment onto a piece of Red Hot Card Stock and cut it out with one of the Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics.
