Hello crafty friends! I am so excited to kick off the December Release Countdown for My Favorite Things with a brand new stamp set from Birdie Brown!

This set is called Magical Friends and it’s filled with the sweetest little dragons and children! I stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Sketch Markers. I then used the coordinating Magical Friends Die-namics to cut them out.

I created a slimline card today so that I could fit as many images onto my card front as possible. I started with a piece of Smooth White Card Stock measured at 8.75″ x 3.75″ and blended it with Spun Sugar and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink starting with the pink at the bottom and blending the blue toward the middle and the top.

I then trimmed this piece down to 3.5″ x 8.5″. I like to start with a larger piece when I am ink blending and trim off the edges when I am done for a cleaner look since more ink tends to saturate the edges of the the card stock for me when I blend.

I used Black Ink to stamp my sentiment to the upper left corner of my card and then added some grass using some Green Room Prestige Card Stock and the long grass die from the Pop-Up Wiper Card Components Die-namics.

Lastly, I added all of my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for some added dimension.
