Hello, friends! There are only 4 days left until the January Release from My Favorite Things can be yours! Today, I am sharing a pop-up card that features the brand new Kissing Booth Stamp Set illustrated by Stacey Yacula!
I combined this set with the SY Scene Builder Stamp Set for a fun little 3D scene. I created my background by stamping some hills, trees, and clouds onto a sheet of Smooth White Card Stock with some Grout Gray Ink. I then colored my background with some light-colored Copics so as not to distract from my sweet little images at their kissing booth. For those images, I stamped them with Tuxedo Memento Black Ink, colored them with Copics, and used the coordinating Kissing Booth Die-namics to cut them out.
For the front of my card, I blended a piece of 4.25″ x 5.5″ Smooth White Card Stock with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks and then splattered it with both water and diluted Opaque White Paint. I then used the new Lots of Hearts Cover Up Die-namics to cut out a panel of hearts and adhered it to the front of my card with liquid adhesive. Next, I heat embossed my sentiment onto a strip of Black Licorice Card Stock and used one of the Skinny Strips Die-namics to cut it out. I attached my sentiment as well as another little image to the front panel, keeping it simple so as not to take away from the 3D surprise on the inside of the card.
I also heat embossed a sentiment for the inside of my card onto a strip of Summer Splash Prestige Card Stock. I cut it out with one of the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips Die-namics and adhered it to the lower right corner leaving a lot of space to write a message if so desired.
