Hello everyone! There is only one day left until the January Release from MFT Stamps goes live! I have a shaker card to share with you today that features both the new Lots of Hearts Cover-Up Die-namics along with the new Pure Innocence Soft Place to Land Stamp Set.

To start my card, I first trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and blended it with some Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered this piece with some water using a #4 paint brush and let it sit for about a minute before blotting it dry with a paper towel. Next, I added some white spatter using some diluted Opaque White Paint. Once this panel was dry, I then diecut it with the Lots of Hearts Cover-Up Die-namics.

I then used the largest die from the A2 Rectangle Frames Die-namics to cut 7 frames from white card stock. I glued 6 of them together to create a border with some dimension in which to hold my shaker elements. I cut a piece of 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of pink watercolor patterned paper from the Watercolor Wash Paper Pack and adhered it to my card base.

I then glued my A2 sized rectangle frame on top of this and added my shaker elements to the inside. I used a piece of clear acetate, slightly smaller than 4.25″ x 5.5″ to cover my shaker window and hold everything in place. Next, I used some liquid adhesive to add my Lots of Hearts Cover-Up background piece and then adhered my last white rectangle frame on top of that to give it a nice clean border.

I set this aside to dry and then stamped my image from the new Pure Innocence Soft Place to Land Stamp Set onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used Copic Markers to color my sweet little girl and the coordinating die-namic to cut her out. I adhered her to my card with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares and then added my sentiment below her that I had stamped with Black Ink onto a piece of white card stock and had diecut using one of the Essential Fishtail Sentiments Die-namics.

Thank you, dear Emma! It’s definitely a little bit of extra work but they’re so much fun and totally worth it!
Your blending is delicious… love this sweet little girl and it even is more, a shaker. Couldn’t be better. Thank you Rachel for sharing this beauty.
Thank you so much, Anne!
