Hello friends! It’s time for the latest Vault Release from My Favorite Things! If you’re new to the Vault Release, this is where My Favorite Things brings back some updated versions of some previously retired stamp and die sets! My card today features the Pure Innocence Love is in the Air Stamp Set.
To start, I first trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and then used the Lots of Hearts Stencil to blend some Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Inks. I decided to go with the darker hues of the Distress Inks rather than the Oxide versions of these colors because I wanted them to show through the piece of clear Vellum (also cut to 4.25″ x 5.5″) that I placed over top of this panel.
I then used the A2 Rectangle Frame Die-namics to cut a frame from Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock and adhered this frame on top of my Vellum with some liquid adhesive. Once dry, I then stamped my sentiment with some quick drying Black Ink onto the top left corner of my card.
For my image, I stamped her with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I then colored her with Copics (Skin: E0000, E000, E21, E11, E04, Hair: E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, Pink Socks: RV000, RV52, RV55, RV66, RV69) and cut her out with the coordinating die. I did some paper piecing using the Sweet Stack Paper Pack for her dress. I then stamped the hearts onto another sheet of smooth white card stock with some Ripe Raspberry Prestige Premium Dye Ink and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I added all of my images to the front of my card with 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for some added dimension.
Stay tuned for some more sneak peeks tomorrow as well! Make sure to head to the MFT Blog to see the other fun sets that are being shown today! Leave a comment there for a chance to win a $25 MFT Gift Voucher!
