Hello crafty friends! There are only four days left until the newest MFT Release becomes available! I have a sweet little Birthday Card to share with you today that features the brand new and adorable Sweet Shop Stamp Set illustrated by Stacey Yacula!
I tried to keep my card simple today with the focus being just on the cute little mice baking their sweet little cupcakes. I first stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored everything with Copic Sketch Markers. I then used the coordinating Sweet Shop Die-namics to cut it out. I set this piece aside and then worked on a quick and easy background.

I trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and then masked off and area on the bottom portion of my card for the floor area. Once this area was covered, I then placed the English Brick Wall Stencil on top of my panel and lightly blended it with some Summer Splash Premium Dye Ink. I worked with a heavier hand from the center, lightly blending this ink out toward the sides to give it a faded look. I then removed my stencil and mask and covered the top portion of my card so that I could lightly blend some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink for the floor.

I then stamped my sentiment with Black Ink onto the lower right corner and lastly added my image with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares for added dimension.
