Hello friends! Have you been enjoying the product previews from the upcoming My Favorite Things February Release? There are so many fun new items to choose from! For my card today, I created a quick and easy shaker birthday card.

I combined the cute new Mini Cupcake Maker Die-namics along with the gorgeous Sprinkled with Love Stamp Set to create a fun but simple card that your recipient is sure to love. To start, I first created my mini cupcake by diecutting the pieces from various scraps of colored card stock.

I then trimmed a piece of white card stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and diecut a stitched window in the top center using the LJD Peek-a-Boo Circle Window Die-namics. I then trimmed another piece of white card stock to the same size and lightly blended a small section (that would fit behind the window) with some Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks.

I then trimmed a piece of patterned paper from the new Birthday Brights Paper Pack and stamped my sentiment with black ink. I love the gorgeous script of the Sprinkled with Love Set so much! I adhered the patterned paper to the front of my card and added a strip of Ripe Raspberry Card Stock for added interest.

For my shaker portion, I adhered a piece of clear acetate behind my window with liquid adhesive and added 3D Foam Adhesive Tape to my bottom piece of my card to create some room for my embellishments (Studio Katia 3M Crystal Clear Sequins and Studio Katia Sparkling Crystals).
