Hello friends! It’s time for a new Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things! For my take on this week’s sketch, I used some cute images from the Birdie Brown Birth-Yay Stamp Set. I decided to both flip and rotate the sketch this week for my layout and design.

Here’s a look at the current sketch. The goal of the challenge is to design something that this sketch inspires you to create. You can follow the sketch directly or you can substitute the shapes for images or embellishments.

I kept my card fairly simple, allowing the images to be the main focal point. I left my background white except for a small strip of grass that I had blended on to a 4.25″ x 5.5″ of Smooth White Card Stock. In order to do this, I used the Grassy Edges Stencil and some Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide Ink.

I then stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Markers. Next, I diecut them with their coordinating die-namics and then set them aside so that I could stamp my sentiment onto my card with Black Ink. Lastly, I adhered my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares to allow them to slightly pop off from my base.

Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! For more sketch inspiration, make sure to stop by the MFT Blog.
