Hello friends! For today’s Hit’s & Highlights Feature from My Favorite Things, the MFT Design Team was challenged to showcase some projects using the Pumped-Up Alphabet and/or Pumped-Up Numbers Stamp Sets. Alphabet and number stamps are an essential part of card making for adding that personal touch. The fact that these letters and numbers are balloons, makes it even more cheerful and versatile!

For my card today, I combined the new Pumped-Up Alphabet Stamp Set along with the fun BB Birthday Buds Stamp Set. To start, I first blended some Distress Oxide Inks (Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass) onto a 5.5″ x 4.25″ piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. Once it dried, I then stamped the word “FRIEND” with the Pumped-Up Alphabet Stamp Set along the top portion of my card with both Tropical Teal and Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink. I used some Gray Ink to stamp my balloon strings (except for the E so that I could place my bunny there.)

I once again set this piece aside to dry and then stamped my Birthday Buds images with Copic friendly Black Ink onto another piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I used Copic Markers to color them and the coordinating Birthday Buds Die-namics to cut them out.

I then stamped my sentiment onto the bottom portion of my card with Grape Jelly Ink. Next, I used some Glossy Accents on top of each balloon to give it some dimension. I set my card aside until the Glossy Accents had dried, and then added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares.
