Hello crafty friends! I’m so thrilled to be guest designing for the Hello Bluebird April Release! I have been a huge fan of Hello Bluebird for some time now, so I’m super excited to share some new products with you! My card today features the new and adorable Meadow Bunnies Stamp Set. I fell in love with this set when I first laid eyes on it! To start, I first stamped all of my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock.

I then colored all of my images with Copic Markers. (Whites: 0, C00, C0, C2, C4, C6; Blues: B0000, B01, B02; Yellows: Y11, Y15, E35, Pinks: RV000, R81, R83, R85, Blush: R30). I then used my Brother ScanNCut to cut out all of my images. I then set these images aside so that I could work on my background.

For my background, I trimmed a piece of smooth white card stock to 8.5″ x 3.5″. Next, I blended some Distress Oxide Inks (Wilted Violet, Milled Lavender, Spun Sugar, and Squeezed Lemonade) together to create a colorful sky. I lightly splattered it with water using a clean #4 paintbrush and then blotted it dry with a paper towel after letting it sit for about a minute. Once dry, I then trimmed this piece down to 8.25″ x 3.25″.

I added some grass by diecutting a strip of smooth white card stock with one of the grass dies from the Grassy Knoll Die Set. I then blended it with some Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Ink before adhering it to my card front with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape. Lastly, I added all of my images with some more 3D Foam Tape for some added dimension.

Make sure to stop by the Hello Bluebird Blog for more release inspiration! This new release will be available this coming Thursday, April 9th.
