Hello Bluebird Stamps | Little Painters

April 9, 2020

Hello friends! I have two more cards to share with you today that showcase some of the new stamp sets that will be released by Hello Bluebird later tonight. My first card features the new Little Painters Stamp Set that is currently being offered for free with qualifying purchases.

To start my card, I first trimmed a piece of smooth white card stock to 8.5″ x 3.5″ and blended the top portion with Milled Lavender and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks. I then diecut a few layers of grass from white card stock using the Grassy Knoll Die Set. Next, I blended each piece with both Cracked Pistachio and Evergreen Bough Distress Oxide Ink. I lightly splattered each piece with water and then again with some diluted Opaque White Paint for added interest.

I then stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copics. Next I cut them out using my handy Brother ScanNCut. I then stamped my sentiment from the Spring Gathering Stamp Set with Black Ink and then pieced my card together using both liquid adhesive and 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension.

My second card today features the adorable Besties Stamp Set. I combined this set with a few others to create a fun, starry-night scene. I first diecut a basic circle from a piece of masking paper and placed it onto a piece of 4.25″ x 5.5″ smooth white card stock. I then blended around this area with some Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink. I added some water splatters as well as some splatters of diluted Opaque White Paint once I had blotted away any excess water.

I then removed the mask and colored in this circular area with Cool Gray Copics (0, C00, C0, C2, C4) to look like a full moon. I added some trees on each side using the Winter Woods Overlay Die. I added some foliage using the clouds from the Sunshine Scene Die and then flipping it upside down to resemble the leaves on a tree.

Lastly, I stamped, colored, and cut my images and added them to my card with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape.

Thank you all so much for stopping by! If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, please feel free to check out my INSTAGRAM feed!
