Hello crafty friends! I love this month’s Stamp of the Month from Spellbinders! It’s called Bold Beautiful and it contains 14 gorgeous red rubber stamps. I used this set along with some blue Distress Inks to create my card today. * (Affiliated links used where applicable at no extra charge to you.) *
To start, I first trimmed a piece of smooth white cardstock to 2.75″ x 3.25″ and then blended it with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Inks. I set this piece aside to dry and then blended the same colors onto another piece of smooth white card stock cut to 4.25″ x 5.5″.
I then heat embossed a white frame (using Fine Detail White Heat Embossing Powder) from the Bold Beautiful Stamp Set onto my smaller piece of blue blended card stock. Next, I heat embossed the word BEAUTIFUL inside the white frame. I then trimmed a piece of white card stock to 2 7/8 x 3 3/8 to place behind this piece. I adhered them both to my card base with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for some added dimension.
Next, I stamped some of the gorgeous flowers that come with this set and cut them out with my Brother ScanN Cut. I then colored them with Copic Markers and added them to my card as an accent to my inner white frame with both liquid adhesive and some more 3D Foam Adhesive Tape.
