Hello friends! For this month’s Birthday Project Challenge from My Favorite Things, it’s all about creating birthday projects using circles. It’s no secret that I love creating circular shaped cards and I used the A2 Circle STAX Die-namics (one of my absolute favorite die-namics sets) to create the base of my card today.

To start, I first used the largest circle die to diecut a circle from Smooth White Card Stock. I then masked off the bottom portion with some purple tape and then blended some Distress Oxide Inks (Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, and Blueprint Sketch) to create my background. In order to create a frame for my shaker embellishments, I used both the largest and second largest circle die to cut a number of circle frames and adhered them together with liquid adhesive to create one frame with dimension.

I stamped all of my images from the Stacey Yacula Sending Sweet Celebration Wishes Stamp Set with Copic friendly Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers and then used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:
- Penguin Light Areas: 0, W00, W0, W2, W4
- Penguin Dark Areas: W4, W5, W7, W9
- Bunny: 0, C00, C0, C2, C4
- Medium Pink: RV000, R81, R85
- Bright Pink: RV000, RV52, RV55, RV66
- Blue: B60, B63, B66
- Violet: BV000, BV01, BV04, BV17

Lastly, I assembled my card together and used some clear acetate as my card window. I added some 3MM Majestic sequins from Studio Katia as my embellishment. So much fun!
