Hello friends! I have a single layer card to share with you featuring the new Picked For You Stamp Set from Hello Bluebird Stamps. I combined this set with the new and gorgeous Pathway Background Stamp. To start, I first stamped the images of the little girl, the rabbit, and the tree branch with the bird onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then masked off these images using the Gina K. Designs Magic Masking Paper.

For those of you that may not know, masking is when you stamp your image onto a piece of masking paper, then fussy cut that image out around it’s silhouette, and then place it over top of the same image that you have stamped onto your card stock. Then, whatever image you stamp over it, will actually look like it is behind the image that you had stamped first when the masking paper is removed.

For my card today, once I had masked my images, I then stamped the Pathway Background Stamp on top of my masked images to make it look like they were standing to the side of a winding path lined with trees. I colored all of my images with Copic Markers and then trimmed my card stock to approximately 4.75″ x 6.75″. I then added a 5″ x 7″ white mat behind my colored image to create a nice clean frame.

Lastly, I added some details with a White Gel Pen and then added my sentiment that I had stamped with Black Ink onto a strip of white card stock.
