Hello friends! I am so excited to share with you the latest upcoming stamp set illustrated by Birdie Brown! For my project today, I created a fun Shadow Box Card featuring some of the cute images from the Hanging with My Gnomies Stamp Set. To start, I stamped all of my images with Copic friendly Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock. I colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating Die-namics to cut them out.
Copic Colors Used:
- Skin: E0000, E000, E11
- Reds: R14, R27, R46, R59
- Blues: B21, B24, B26, B39
- Girl’s Hair: E50, E53, E55
- Beards: 0, C00, C0, C2, C4
- Yellows: Y000, Y13, Y15, E35
- Light Browns: E40, E42, E43, E44
- Dark Browns: E30, E31, E23, E25, E29
- Greens: YG01, G06, YG17, YG67
I used some Kraft Card Stock for the outside of my shadow box card and one of the larger dies from the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 2 Die-namics to cut out my window. I added some grass using the Grassy Hills Die-namics and some trees from the Snowy Hillside Die-namics.
For my background, I blended some Abandoned Coral, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks onto a smooth piece of white card stock. I also used some Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink to color my grass that I had cut from white card stock.
My card folds perfectly to fit into a standard 5×7 envelope as shown above. If you’d like to try something like this on your own, I have all of the measurements listed HERE on a previous post from a few years back.
