Hello friends! There are only 24 hours left until the May Vault Release from My Favorite Things becomes available! I’ve created a fun card to share with you today that showcases the Birdie Brown Class Act Stamp Set.

To start my card, I first created a fun background using the Ray of Light Stencil (one of my current favorites!). I trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and then masked off the bottom portion with some purple tape. I then placed the Ray of Light Stencil on top of this panel and blended some rays using Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Spun Sugar, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.

Next, I stamped my image onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Black Ink and colored her with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut her out and then set her aside to finish the base of my card. I then used one of the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics to cut my ink blended base and stamped my sentiment onto it with Black Ink.

I then layered this piece with both a piece of white and Ripe Raspberry Prestige Card Stock. Lastly, I adhered my image with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape to the front center of my card for some added dimension.

The ray stencil was on my wish list. Love the colors of ink you used.
Thank you, Lynn! It’s one of my absolute favorite stencils!
Love the ray of sunshine… we’re all looking for one right now. I feel so bad for all the Seniors who will not be able to walk up for their diplomas. I always thought that was such a great feeling to reach that place…
Thank you so much, Anne. I agree. It’s heartbreaking with everything that is going on in the world right now.
Fun card! So bright and cheery! I like the fun pinks and yellows! A class act indeed!
Thank you for your sweet comments, Liz!
Fabulous card and love the background! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much, April 🙂
Amazing coloring. I love how you did the background, too. Rachel, you always delight!
