Hello friends! We’re kicking off the MFT Stamps June Release Countdown with TWO brand new stamp sets illustrated by Birdie Brown! My card today features some sweet little felines from the new Cat-astrophe set.

Here are some of the adorable images that come with both sets. I stamped all of my images with Copic friendly black ink, colored them with Copic Markers and used the coordinating die-namics to cut each one of them out.
Copic Colors Used:
- Grays/Whites: 0, W00, W0, W2, W4
- Beige Browns: E50, E51, E53, E55
- Dark Browns: E31, E23, E25, E29
- Teals: BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49
- Medium Browns: E41, E42, E43, E44
- Fish Bowl: B000, B00, B02, B04, W00, W2
- Tennis Ball: YG01, YG23, YG17
- Dark Grays/Black: W5, W6, W8

Next, I worked on the background of my card. I diecut a piece of Smooth White Card Stock with the Stitched Collage Frame Die-namics. I then blended each of the negative pieces with Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. Once blended, I then splattered this piece with both diluted opaque white paint and diluted Peacock Feathers Distress Ink for some added interest.

Next, I stamped my sentiment to the top left corner of one of my panels. I then glued the stitched collage frame to a 4.25 ” x 5.5″ piece of card stock and then adhered the ink-blended inside/negative pieces as well. Lastly, I added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension.

Cute card and I love seeing all the critters in a row. Is that your table top that is so reflective?
Very cute card. Love your coloring and the brightness of the card.
Thank you so much, Pamela!
Thank you, Kim! It’s actually a piece of shiny whiteboard that I bought from Lowes a few years back (super inexpensive!). It was around a 5′ x 6′ piece and I had them cut it into four equal sections for me. I use the extra pieces as large dry erase boards for my kids. 🙂
Your card is Purrfect!!
Lol, thanks so much, Christine! <3
Great card. Your graduated colored background windows are perfect, and the cats are adorable. Loved seeing all the different animals lined up, too.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments, Eva! <3

Such a fun set, and you have shown it off is such fabulous colors and design.
Thank you so much!
I really like the stitched collage frame. I am wondering if it is new because I don’t remember seeing that exact layout used and several people have used it. I will definitely check it out. Also, thank you so much for including your Copic color combinations. I love it when bloggers do that!!!
Thank you, Lynn! It’s not new but it’s funny how a bunch of us used it for these particular sets. It’s a great background die because it makes the layout super easy to figure out.
What a fun card. You always inspire.
Thank you for such sweet words, Becky! 🙂
Love the distress oxide inked background and speckles. Hope I can position it correctly like you.
Thank you so much, Lynn! <3 I diecut the background pieces first before blending the ink onto each one of them. It made the positioning super easy this way.
Super cute Rachel!!
Thank you, my friend! <3

Thank you so much, Patricia! You’re going to love this set! 🙂
Oh goodness, this is adorable, Rachel. Your coloring is just fantastic! The blend in the squares is so pretty. You’ve shown off the personality of the kitties so wonderfully. I don’t think I’ve mentioned how neat it is to see the images lined up like you’ve been doing. What a wonderful way to showcase them. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring!
Thank you so very much, my friend! <3
Super CUTE naughty kitties!
Thank you, Lagene! Birdie Brown creates some of the best stamp sets! 🙂
G’Day Rachel, greetings from Oz! Well, these kitties mimic mine at home – they are perpetually getting themselves into cutsie trouble too! I admire your skill on how you give each kitty its own persona. The scratched tissue box is a golden touch. Even though at home it often is the bathroom tissue! Stay safe and have a terrific weekend. In complete admiration of your work.
Thank you so much, Adam! I hope you have a safe and happy weekend as well!
