Hello friends! We have a special treat for you this month with a surprise Mid-Month Release! Over the next few days, we will be debuting 11 new red rubber floral stamp sets!

I’ve created two cards today using the Magnolia Blossoms Stamp Set. For my first card, I heat embossed one of the Magnolia stamps with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder onto a sheet of Blueberry Prestige Card Stock. I then used a mix of pink and green Prismacolor Colored Pencils to color the image in.

To finish my card, I lastly heat embossed my sentiment from the Sweet Nothings Stamp Set with Gold Embossing Powder and then layered my card front onto some white and blue card stock pieces in order to give my card a small white frame.
I kept my second card rather simple and quickly watercolored some green watercolor paints onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ piece of Ken Oliver Watercolor Paper. I splattered this piece with both opaque white and green paints for some added interest.

Once my background panel had dried, I then used one of the Stitched Rectangle Die-namics Set 2 to trim this piece. Next, I heat embossed my magnolia image onto the front of this piece with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder. Lastly, I heat embossed my sentiment from the Bitty Thanks & Gratitude Stamp Set onto a strip of Black Licorice Card Stock and adhered it to my card with some liquid adhesive.

Both of these cards are my favorites of the hop so far. The yellow / greens are fun and scream summer and I love it.
