Hello friends! The amazing July Release from MFT Stamps is now available! I created a fun dino box card to share with you today that features the new A-roar-able Friends Stamp Set.
This A6 type of box card is super easy to create! It’s basically a 4.5″ tall x 4.25″ wide back panel with a strip attached to the front. I cut the front strip at 1 1/8″ x 9.25″ strip and scored it .5″ from each end to attach it to my back panel. I then added some inner shelves cut to 5″ x 1″ and scored 3/8″ from each side. Next, I stamped all of my images with Black Ink, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I also added a few palm trees from the Sunny Vibes Stamp Set that was released last month.
Copic Colors Used:
- Grays: W00, W0, W2, W4
- Greens: YG01, YG06, YG17, YG67
- Purples: V00, V01, V15, V17, V09
- Blues: B000, B01, B04, B06 (Blue Strips)B21, B23, B28
- Yellows: Y11, Y13, V12
- Browns: E31, E23, E25, E29
- Oranges: Y02, Y07, Y18
For my background, I blended some Distress Oxide Inks (Blueprint Sketch, Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, and Wild Honey) onto a 4.5″ tall x 4.25″ wide piece of Smooth White Card Stock. Once done, I then splattered this piece with both water and Opaque White Paint after blotting the excess water with a paper towel and allowed it to dry. Once ready, I then trimmed it down to 4.25″ tall x 4″ wide and attached it to the back panel of my card. I added some grass by diecutting some white cardstock strips with the Grassy Fields Die-namics and blending each piece with Bundled Sage and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks.
