Hello friends! It’s time for a brand new sketch challenge! I created a fun but simple card for my take on this week’s sketch. For my images, I combined some underwater friends from both the Birdie Brown Gill Friends and Friends with Fins Stamp Sets. I stamped all of my images with Copic friendly black ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Copic Colors Used:

• Warm Grays: W00, W0, W2, W4
• Greens: YG01, YG06, YG17, YG67
• Oranges: YR02, YR04, YR18, E09
• Yellows: Y11, Y13, Y15, V12

I then trimmed a piece of smooth white card stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and blended a section on the left of it with some Distress Oxide Inks (Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, and Chipped Sapphire). I splattered this blending lightly with water to add some texture and then blotted it dry with a clean paper towel.

Next, I trimmed another piece of smooth white card stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and diecut a large circle out of the middle left side using the A2 Stitched Circle STAX. I then adhered this piece over top of my ink blended panel with some adhesive.

Lastly, I stamped my sentiment with black ink on the lower right corner of my card front and then added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Squares.
