Hello friends! There are only 24 hours left until the August Release from My Favorite Things becomes available! I have a card to share with you today that features the sweet little girl from the Pure Innocence Jumping with Joy Stamp Set.

To start my card, I first stamped my images with Copic friendly black ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock.

I colored my images with Copic Markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I then set them aside to make a quick and easy ink-blended background.

To create my background, I used some purple tape and masked off the bottom portion of my card to create a red sky. I used a blend of both Wild Cherry and Electric Red Premium Dye Inks. I then splattered this portion with diluted Opaque White Paint as well as diluted gold and brown watercolor paints. Once this area was dry, I then masked off the top portion of the card and repeated the process. The only difference is that I used Antique Linen Distress Oxide Ink for the ground.

Love your coloring and the card is adorable!
Thank you so much, dear Laura! 🥰
Wow, she’s delightful and makes me almost long for the cooler days of fall. We’re pretty toasty in my neck of the woods and are also dealing with smoke from wildfires. But she looks ready to enjoy a warm cocoa! Thanks for sharing her and the coloring combos for the other great images! I appreciate your time and talent! 🙂
I’m so sorry to hear that you are close to the wildfires and dealing with the smoke. I pray that you, your family, and your home stay safe! Sending many hugs and prayers from across the miles! ❤️❤️❤️
You make such pretty cards! Thank you for sharing all the markers, ink colors and materials you use in this Fall card. I really appreciate it.
Love the whole composition and the bold color on the background!
Also the uniforms coloring are right on point!
Stay well,
