Hello crafty friends and welcome to the Heffy Friends Blog Hop! Today we are celebrating the Heffy Doodle July 2020 release with lots of inspiration and a giveaway, too!
I created two cards today that both showcase products from the newest release. My first one is a fun little box card that features the You Go Gull and A Little Shellfish Stamp Sets.

I first stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used my Brother ScanNCut to cut them out. There are coordinating dies for the You Go Gull and A Little Shellfish Sets here.

Copic Colors Used:
- Whites/Grays: 0, C00, C0, C2, C4
- Reds: R14, R27, R46, R59
- Teals: BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49
- Browns: E31, E23, E25, E29
I added some waves by diecutting some white card stock with the Breaking Waves Border Dies. I added some color by blending them with both Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink. I also added some sand dunes using the Stitched Slopey Joes Border Dies with white card stock and blending them with Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Inks.

For my card background, I added some clouds by blending some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink onto a sheet of smooth white card stock using the Cloudy Skies Stencil.

My second card is a slimline card that features some cute pups from the Hot Diggity Dog Stamp Set. I once again colored all of my images with Copic Markers. This time, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For the base of my card, I used the Stitched Slimline Trio Dies.

I added some grass using the Grassy Lass Border Dies. I again cut them from white card stock and then blended them with both Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide and regular Distress Inks. For my sky, I blended the areas lightly with both Tumbled Glass and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide Inks.

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

So many seagulls, just like the real beach. While we were in Wales, a seagull swooped down and not only stole my last bite of ice cream, but gulped the entire stick as he took it. IN ONE BITE! Then I worried that he would die. ^$*)^* bird 🙂
Lol!! Your poor ice cream! Those birds are relentless! I was pushing my son in his stroller for a walk a few years back and put some snacks on his tray and a bunch of seagulls came out of nowhere and ate them! It was crazy!
