I have been on a box card kick lately and I really wanted to create a fun 3D scene with the new Harvest Mice Stamp Set. I also added some barnyard background scenery with the new Farm Fresh Stamp Set and a few accessories from the newly released Bountiful Autumn Set. I stamped all of my images with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating dies (listed below) to cut them out.
I added some grass to my inner shelves by diecutting 4 strips of smooth white card stock with the grass die that’s included in the Sunny Sentiments Die Set. I blended each piece with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink for a bright, fresh look.
I stamped my sentiment to the front strip prior to adding it to my card base and then added all of my images with strong liquid adhesive. For the cornstalks, I used both MFT Stamps Greenroom and Lightroom Premium Dye Inks.
My box card today is slightly larger than the ones that I have been making recently. I am hoping to do a video on how to make this style of card in the future. It’s super easy to make and just takes a paper trimmer, a piece of regular card stock, adhesive, and a scoring board. Today, mine measures at 4.5″ x 6.25″ when folded flat and fits perfectly into a standard A6 envelope.
