MFT Stamps | September Release Countdown – Halfway There!

September 5, 2020

Hello friends! We’re halfway through the MFT September Release Countdown! My card today features the latest stamp set illustrated by Stacey Yacula. I stamped all of my images from the Christmas Cheer Stamp Set onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic Markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Copic Color Combos Used:

  • Bunny: W00, W0, W2, W4
  • Tree: YG01, G40, G43, G46
  • Reds: R14, R29, R59
  • Teals: G000, BG11, BG13, B49
  • Fox: YR00, YR02, Y35, YR18, E09

Once my images were complete, I set them aside to work on my background. I trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and blended the top portion with both MFT Sno Cone and Berrylicous Premium Dye Ink. I then splattered this blending with both water and diluted Opaque White Paint as well as some diluted blue watercolor paint for added interest.

Next, I stamped my background onto another sheet of paper before die-cutting it. I lightly colored the snow drifts with B0000, B000, and B01 Copic Markers. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment and added my images with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension.
