Hello friends! There is only one day left until the amazing September Release from My Favorite Things becomes available! I have a Christmas slimline card to share with you today that features the new Loads of Joy Stamp Set combined with the gorgeous new Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics.
To start, I first stamped my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock with Copic friendly Black Ink. I then used Copic Markers to color everything and the coordinating die-namics to cut them out.
Copic Color Combos Used:
- Reds: R14, R29, R89
- Greens: YG01, G40, G43, G46
- Whites: 0, C00, C0, C2, C4
- Snowmen: 0, BV20, BV23
- Reindeer: E41, E42, E43, E44
- Dark Grays/Black: W5, W7
Next, I trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 8.5″ x 3.5″ and blended a portion of it with Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough, and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks. I then splattered this blend with some water as well as some diluted Opaque White Paint along with diluted gold watercolor paint and diluted Evergreen Bough Distress Ink. Once this panel was dry, I then diecut it with the large stitched rectangle die from the Slimline Starter Die-namics.
I then added a stitched snow drift that I had diecut from white paper using the Stitched Slimline Snowdrifts Die-namics. I ran this piece through a second time using the same large rectangle die from the Slimline Starter Set so that it would line up perfectly with my card base. After I adhered it to my background piece, I then layered it with both some White and Field Day Prestige Card Stock for a final measurement of 8.5″ x 3.5″. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment onto the top left corner of my card and then adhered all of my images with 3D Foam Adhesive Tape for added dimension.
