Hello crafty friends! The September Release from My Favorite Things is now available! I have one more card to share with you today using products from this amazing collection.
I combined the new Outside the Box Die-namics along with the new Joyous Holidays Stamp Set to create a fun Christmas Box Card. I once again stamped all of my images onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock (my favorite for Copic coloring) and then colored all of my images with Copic Markers before using the coordinating die-namics to cut them out. I also added some pine trees from the new BB Present Time Set.
Copic Color Combos Used:
- Reds: R14, R29, R89
- Greens: YG01, G40, G43, G46
- Reindeer on Left & Right: E41, E42, E43, E44
- Reindeer in Center: E31, E23, E25, E29
- Bird: B000, B01, B05
When I was done with my images, I set them aside to work on the box base. I used a piece of Blueberry Prestige Card Stock for my base and layered it with both Smooth White Card Stock as well as some blue ink-blended card stock that I had colored with some Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink. I used the Outside the Box Snow Drifts Die-namics to add some inner snowy shelves and then added a stitched snow drift at the bottom using one of the Stitched Slimline Snow Drifts Die-namics. I next trimmed the edges to match with the length of the card front. For my sentiment, I used the “Happy Holidays” stamp from the Bitty Holiday Wishes Stamp Set and heat embossed just the “HO” from the sentiment 3 times to form “HO HO HO”. Lastly, I added all of my images with some liquid adhesive.
