Hello friends! It’s time for a new Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things! Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! Winner will be chosen at random.

Here’s a look at this week’s sketch layout! You don’t have to follow the sketch exactly but you can rotate and substitute the shapes for other shapes or images. The main thing is to have fun using your creativity!

For my take on the sketch, I used the Sweet Holiday Penguins Stamp Set illustrated by Stacey Yacula. I stamped my images with Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock and colored them with Copic Markers.
Copic Color Combos Used:
- Reds: R14, R29, R89
- Black: W5, W7, W9
- Light Gray: W00, W0, W2
- Cool Grays: 0, C00, C0, C2, C4

For my background, I blended a mix of Distress Oxide Inks (Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio, and Tumbled Glass) and then added some snow with both a gel pen and the Snowfall Stencil once the ink had dried. I added some snow using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics and used some Tropical Teal Prestige Card Stock for my base.
