Hello friends! I am so excited to share this month’s gorgeous card kit with you from My Favorite Things! The Merry & Bright Card Kit will be available this coming Tuesday, September 22nd at 10AM EDT.

I have two fun but simple cards to share with you today that showcase this kit. For my first one, I used the cardstock that comes in the kit to create a strand of Christmas lights. I then blended the matching ink to each light onto a piece of vellum directly under the spot where each light would sit. (The ink colors that I used are linked below at the bottom of this post.) I then stamped my sentiment with black ink on the bottom right portion of my card.

For my second card, I once again used the colored cardstock that is included with the kit and added my strand of lights to my card front. I stamped my fun sentiment with a cute little “Let’s Get Lit” Stamp Set that is only available exclusively in the kit.

To finish my card, I layered it with one of the colorful pieces of cardstock from the Very Merry Patterned Paper Pad that also is included in this kit.

Here’s a look at everything that is included! This kit will be available in a bundle deal while supplies last! Make sure to stop by the MFT Blog for more kit inspiration! Leave a comment there for a chance to win a $25 MFT Gift Voucher!
