Hello friends! It’s time for a brand new sketch challenge from My Favorite Things! Come play along for a chance to win a $50 MFT Gift Voucher! (Winner is chosen at random).

Here’s a look at this week’s sketch. You don’t have to follow the sketch exactly but can rotate it or switch out the shapes for other shapes or images. The main goal is to have fun with it and try to stretch your creativity!

For my take on the sketch, I used the Christmas SELFies Stamp Set illustrated by Birdie Brown. I stamped the image with the 3 adorable snowmen with black ink and used Copic Markers to color them.
Copic Color Combos Used:
- Snowmen: W00, W0, W2, W4
- Aqua Scarf: G00, BG11, BG13, BG49
- Blue Scarf: BG01, BG02, BG05, BG07
- Red Scarf: R14, R29, R89
- Background: BG11
- Orange: YR18, YR04, Y35

For my card background, I trimmed a piece of Smooth White Card Stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and blended it with both Cracked Pistachio and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. I started with my darker color on the top of my card and blended downward toward my lighter color, leaving a white space at the very bottom. Next, I splattered this piece with water and then once again with diluted white and blue paints.

Once this piece dried, I diecut it with the largest rectangle from the A2 Stitched Rectangle Die-namics Set 1 and then adhered it to an A2 vertical folding white card base. I stamped my sentiment and then used the A2 Stitched Circle Die-namics to create my white circle and circular frame. Lastly, I a strip of Tropical Teal Prestige Carstock and then adhered my card with tape runner.
