Hello friends! It’s time for our next monthly Outside the Box Challenge! This month’s theme is about Halloween and/or Autumn-themed box cards. If you’ve never created box cards before, the new Outside the Box Die-namics makes is SUPER EASY! Box cards have always been a favorite card style of mine and my recipients always LOVE receiving this type of card. If you have some time in the next few weeks, I encourage you to come and play along! Click HERE for the challenge guidelines and project(s) link-up.

For my take on the challenge, I used the SY Spooktacular Friends Stamp Set to create a fun Halloween-themed card. I stamped all of my images with black ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock, colored them with Copic alcohol markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

Copic Color Combos Used:
- Haunted House: C2, C3, C4, C6
- Oranges: Y35, YR04, YR18, E09
- Mouse: W00, W0, W2, W4
- Bunny: E40, E41, E42, E43
- Purples: BV00, BV02, BV04
- Owl: W0, W2, W4, W5

I then created my box card base using the amazing Outside the Box Die-namics and a piece of Black Licorice Card Stock. I can’t tell you how much time the Outside the Box and Outside the Box Grass Die-namics save! They’re totally worth every penny! I layered my side panels with some white card stock and then I blended some Distress Inks to make some bold color blends for the side.

I used the Outside the Box side panel die-namics (that come with the set) to cut out these ink-blended pieces and adhered them to the sides. Prior to adhering them, I both heat embossed my sentiment with Fine Detail White Embossing Powder and also stamped a spider and a web (from the Boo Crew Stamp Set) onto one of the side panels.
