Hello crafty friends! Welcome to Waffle Flower’s November 2020 Release Day! I am so thrilled to be guest designing for the Waffle Flower Stencils & Silhouettes Blog Hop! I have two projects to quickly share with you today that feature some of the new stencils in this release combined with some fun stamp sets.
Today Waffle Flower is rolling out their new release that includes 3 stamp sets, 1 stamp-n-stencil combo, and 14 stencils! All of the products from this month’s release are already waiting for you on the website here!
This month’s Waffle Flower release is all about creativity boosters! For many of us, time in the craftroom is all about clearing the mind and recharging! With that goal in mind, Waffle Flower packed this release full of stencils and silhouettes designed to feed your imagination! So, take a mini-break from your holiday crafting and take a look at these new goodies! You can read all about them HERE!
For my cards today, I used some of the new and whimsical scene building stencils designed by my talented friend, Keeway Tsao.
For my first card, I created a single layer card using both the Grass Scene Stencil along with the Little Fairies Stamp Set. I used a Gina K Designs Masking Magic Sheet to mask my images before blending the grassy portion of the stencil with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink. I then blended my background with Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose, and Milled Lavender Distress Oxide Inks.
I used Copic Markers to color my images and lastly stamped my sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of my card.
For my second project, I combined Keeway’s Mountain Scene Stencil along with the Winter Hamsters Stamp Set. I created my card similarly to the one above except that I used blue Distress Oxide Inks for my background (Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass).
I love how easy it is to create a super fun background using just the stencil and a variety of colored inks!
