MFT Stamps | November Release Countdown – Two Days Left!

November 8, 2020

Hello friends! There are only two days left until the amazing November release from My Favorite Things becomes available!

I am so excited to share the new box card add-on with you today! I have been creating these low-profile boxes for quite awhile now and am so happy to share that there is now a die set to help you easily create one of your own! I combined the new Outside the Box Low Profile Add-On Die-namics with the new Ice Princess and Friends Stamp Set.

I first stamped my images onto a piece of Neenah Solar White 110lb Cardstock and colored them with Copic Markers. I then used the coordinating die-namics to cut them out.

Copic Color Combos Used:

  • Pinks: RV00, RV52, RV55, RV66
  • Blues: B0000, B00, B02, B04
  • Fox: Y35, YR04, YR18, E09
  • Polar Bear: W00, W0, W2, W4
  • Castle: C00, C0, C2, C4
  • Green Scarf: G000, G00, G02, G05
  • Trees: YG23, YG17, YG67

To quickly create my box base, I combined the Outside the Box Die-namics with the new Outside the Box Low Profile Add-On Die-namics. I used the shelf insert that comes with the main box card die set to create some layers of “ice” and the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics to create a hill in the background for the castle to sit on. Lastly, I added some trees from the Warm Hugs and Frosty Kisses Stamp Set for quick accents.

    Hi, Rachel –
It is clear from the drop-dead gorgeous coloring that you are a master of Copic coloring. Those faces, hair (esp the hair!), bear and gowns are obviously the work of an expert colorist! I love the compositions, too. Thanks for sharing your considerable talents w/ us; you’re an inspiration.

Been loving your box cards for awhile now so I am so glad to see them as a die set. Love how you colored their hair.

The white highlights you added to your stamped images really add a nice dimension to the characters. They are all so cute, beautiful job!

What a fun variation on a box card! And what fun and sweet images to showcase it. The coloring is wonderful. You make such neat color choices that help bring the images to life. That ice skating polar bear steals the show. Haha! Thanks for sharing, Rachel. 🙂
